Foldable handbill. Color side has drawing of both a surrey and a buggy. Surrey is pulled by two grays, has four passengers. Buggy pulled by one horse and is driven by a woman. Text on front "The Troy Carriage Co, Troy, Ohio. Manufacturers of Surreys & Buggies." Reverse side black and white text: "Who would have supposed that our previous folder -- a little innocent 6x7 sheet -- whould have caused cold shivers to run up and down the backs of some of our competitors? At first they laughed when we made the claim that we were leading the procession of Carriage manufacturers. That was when they saw visions of big business. Somehow it failed to materialize with them and we go on. Now is our time to laugh and we laugh. 'He laughs best who laughs last.' Orders have rolled in upon us from all sections of the country and now dealwers are wondering how it is The Troy Carriage Co., of Troy, Ohio has such a trace -- that keeps them busy while others are idle.
