Inscription at top reads " The Plumstead Building in Lynn, Mass. Standing at right in the center is Mathew Plumstead. He was born 15 April 1800, died 29 August 1880 in Lynn. He was the father of Sarah C, Plumstead who married Josiah Marden Davis in 1856. This building was still stading in the 1950's with the name Plumstead in the brickwork. I saw it then, Helen M. Davis." |
